Research of flow restrictors designed for hydrostatic bearings. Research results of four restrictors with fixed geometry designed for hydrostatic bearings are presented. The restrictors of small dimensions guaranteed the laminar flow. Theoretical and experimental dependences of flow rate versus pressure drop on restrictor are discussed.

Application of MEMS micropumps. This article describes what MEMS means and what history this term is, and what sizes microdevices and microsystems are. It has been described MEMS market value and percent share of particular solutions in the MEMS market and new market trends. Moreover we show principle of operation and applications of the selected micropumps: gear, peristaltic, viscous, ultrasonic, electro-osmotic, electro-hydrodynamic (EHD) and magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD).

Hydraulic working circuit of the modern drilling rig for surface mining. A hydraulic circuit in the drilling rig for surface mining has been presented. Functions and operation of the main elements and subsystems have been discussed. Especially the supplying and working system have been detailed.

Lubricant property of fluids for hydraulic systems. Oil Total Azolla 46, emulsion HFA-E and water. In article lubricant property of distilled water, one percent oil-in-water emulsion HFA-E (prepared on base of concentrate Isosynth VX110BF), oil Total Azolla 46 and, in order to comparison, pure concentrated Isosynth VX110BF are shown. The results of research of rolling contact fatigue test (pitting) for the mentioned above liquids are shown as well.

Analysis of oil leaks intensity in the cylinder block-valve plate system in the axial piston pump. The paper presents analyses of oil leaks intensity in the particular sectors of the cylinder block-valve plate system. The leak intensity in the pressure and the transition lower zone of the presented pump has been determined. The calculations of the volumetric losses in this system have been formulas.
